Regina Barcello is owner and graphic designer at Visual Image Associates. Visual Image Associates specializes in logo design and all print graphics such as advertising, direct mail, packaging, brochures, book design, annual reports, and most recently, web design. Our clients encompass a wide spectrum of sizes and design needs. Our client list has included Staples Office Products, Dolce International (a hotel management company), the Strouse Adler Company (a clothing manufacturer), GE Capital, Enfield Federal Savings Bank, and Newtown Savings Bank. Several start-up companies and local businesses have also employed the skills of Visual Image Associates. Most of these clients have limited budgets yet require a professional corporate identification program and marketing aids such as logo, stationary, brochures, catalogs, and promotion pieces. Visual Image Associates has successfully met these requirements with the finest quality work available within a given budget. Some of these clients include Network Synergy, Allied Sintering, Allergy Control Products, Associated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Cardinal Driving Services, Biscardi Enterprises, Pomperaug Chiropractic and Holistic Center, and Gager, Emerson, Richart, Bower and Scalzo. Regina received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design in 1980 from the University of Connecticut. In her early career, Regina designed logos, annual reports and book covers for design firm Stead Young and Rowe working with clients such as United Technologies, Martin Marietta, Horn & Hardart, Allied Signal, Committee for Economic Development, and MDRC. Later she began designing brochures, logos, illustrations, and slide presentations for GVM Graphics whose client list included Boehringer Ingelheim, Raichle-Molitor, Grolier, and Richardson-Vicks. Visual Image Associates started in 1980 as Optima Design. In 1986 Regina brought her years of experience to form Visual Image Associates changing the prior company’s name to better encompass the visual services now offered which included photography and illustration. Along with the successful running of Visual Image Associates, Regina Barcello is currently Co-chair of the Southbury Business Association Programs Committee; is a past President and Vice President of Friends of Pomperaug Music, Inc. in Southbury; held numerous leadership roles in the Woodbury United Methodist Church; has lived in Southbury for 30 years with her husband, Michael; has 2 sons, Andrew, 24, and Jeremy, 23; and has recently started a pottery studio at her Southbury home. ‘Come clay with me’ is her new mantra. |
