Dobbs Ferry, NY with bachelor’s degree in journalism, Janis
earned her MBA at Western Connecticut State University. She is past
secretary of Girls Inc., of Greater Waterbury board of directors and a
past member of the Red Cross of Waterbury board of directors. Janis is
also an author, having published a book of essays, dozens of feature
articles and most recently, a short story in the literary journal, Rosebud.
Janis Hogan
Janis Hogan, a resident of Southbury, is the
marketing director for Prudential Connecticut Realty based in Rocky
Hill. Prudential Connecticut is the largest independently owned real
estate company in CT with 62 offices and nearly 2,000 sales executives
in CT, RI and MA. Janis is also co-owner of Farrell Marketing and
Design (FMD) with her husband Don Farrell. FMD is a marketing,
advertising and graphic design agency based in Southbury that serves
clients in a variety of industries throughout CT. Prior to joining FMD,
Janis was marketing director for Saint Mary’s Hospital in
